Every moment is a great moment to love. No exceptions! There are many moments in the year when we have created special times to acknowledge love, i.e. Valentine’s Day, birthdays, etc. Those are great days for love, but the truth is, so is EVERY day. I am declaring: It is open season to love NOW!
Instead of spending all this time thinking about what love is or isn’t, why not put your love into action today? Love is a verb. It is action. It looks lots of different ways, and how you show your love for people is your choice. People that wait have regrets, so I am challenging to be loving today. Use your creativity: demonstrate, stretch yourself in the name of love, show love your way, give love away.
If you are asking “HOW…?”, my challenge to you is to show your love in a way that you’ve always dreamed of. It can be a simple showing. Trust yourself. You are the only you out there, and how you choose to love is unique. So go for it!
There are plenty of people who have come before us that concur:
“Action speaks louder than words but not nearly as often.” – Mark Twain
“Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do… but how much love we put in that action.” -Mother Teresa
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” – Dale Carnegie
Who is the last person you said “I love you” to, and why?
What is some expression of love you’ve thought about doing in the past and haven’t? (Hint: Today is the day!)
Who is someone in your life you can acknowledge lovingly, that you haven’t before, and are willing to today?
